Interurban Train 305

The Corsicana Interurban Line opened October 20, 1913 with 22 passenger cars, numbered 300 through 321. The 57-foot green Pullman cars were trimmed in gold leaf with red window frames and doors. Car 305 served the Corsicana Line until it closed in 1941, it continued to running to the Waco Line until 1948.

The Corsicana Visitor Center is housed in a beautifully-restored 1895 railroad freight office, now located at the intersection of S. Beaton St. and W. 7th Ave. Stop by 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturdays, or check out at www.visitcorsicana.com at your convenience to discover what’s going on in town.
